Opportunities to Accelerate Climate Action Now

The next three years are crucial accelerating climate action and in order to fulfill the Paris Agreement’s ambitious temperature goals. During the opening of COP23, developing countries stressed the need to prioritize pre-2020 action along with addressing revisions of national targets, covering the period 2020 -2030.

During this press conference, WWF experts provide an update on existing progress and analysis on what should be considered in order to accelerate action in the next 36 months, including collaboration with companies and cities, in the energy transition and in adaptation strategies.
